CindyC (full name Cindy Y Chen, also Cindy Chen)’s journey showcases a dynamic blend of artistic passion, finance, and business acumen. She has shown a deep love for the performing arts since she was young. CindyC began dancing at age 5, soon competing nationally as a member of a dance group and trained in styles such as Heels, Ballet, Latin, Contemporary, and K-pop. CindyC was a cheerleader and performed in numerous shows, some of which had thousands of audiences. A fun fact is that her birthday, April 29, falls on International Dance Day.

CindyC discovered her passion for music at a young age. She has been an amateur piano player since junior high school, achieving an advanced level through the National Musicians Association. She wrote her first song during this time. Additionally, she received professional vocal training, earned several awards in major city singing competitions, and performed a number of shows. She DJs sometimes. 

CindyC was a salaried live streamer for Tencent’s streaming platform and Douyu. She has been featured on the cover of fashion magazine.

Cindy began her career in the financial services industry with a wealth management internship at Citibank during her sophomore year. She went on to gain experience with several other notable companies, contributing to various major projects, including one IPO projects that eventually became one of the world’s largest IPOs. Additionally, she was on the investment team for large-scale real estate projects totaling in the multi-billion dollar range. She was also offered a role working under the head of investment who is responsible for deploying billions of dollars annually. Cindy has experience investing in different markets.

Cindy earned her MBA from Cornell University, one of the Ivy League Schools, and was honored with the merit-based Forte Fellowship, which recognizes women who demonstrate exceptional leadership.

Her diverse lifestyle includes a love for gourmet cuisine, a dedication to yoga and fitness, and a passion for golf. Cindy has lived in cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York City. She is fluent in both English and Chinese.
